We take great pleasure in introducing a new member of the global Graham Beck family. The recent appointment of Edwin Olivieri as business development executive reinforces this producer’s commitment to providing further impetus to the success of its celebrated Méthode Cap Classique brand in their largest export market, namely the USA.

Graham Beck has been exporting to the USA since 1995 (23 years). Edwin has been working for Maritime Wine Trading Collective, Graham Beck’s importer in the USA, for nine years where he held the position of sales director for the Mid-West region. He enjoys a close working relationship with Maritime’s distributors and has worked with the Graham Beck brand from the outset, building it into Maritime’s largest imported wine brand.

“Over the course of the past decade at Maritime, Edwin conducted himself with the utmost professionalism and enthusiasm, establishing a standard of excellence in brand development for all Maritime's portfolio partners which we should all seek to emulate. I am therefore delighted for him to assume this pivotal new role for which he is richly deserving and look forward to working together with Edwin and the wonderful team at Graham Beck in achieving greater heights of success in the US market,” comments Chris Nickolopoulos, founder and CEO of Maritime.

Edwin holds a Masters degree from De Paul University, Chicago, Illinois. In his new position he will assume the role of business development executive for Graham Beck’s acclaimed Méthode Cap Classique portfolio, with a specific focus on supporting Maritime and its distributor partners in all 50 states across the USA with achieving sales success and building the brand in the largest wine market in the world. My dedication and passion for all things Graham Beck is what keeps me focused and allows me to give my 100% when representing Graham Beck in the utmost elegant and sophisticated manner. As I review my various experiences representing the Graham Beck brand I am confident that I will be a key player within this incredible organisation.

I am elated, humbled and honoured to be an official member of the Graham Beck family!”

“I have known Edwin Olivieri since 2007, when I walked the streets of Chicago for the first time,” recalls Graham Beck cellarmaster Pieter Ferreira. Since then Pieter has worked with him in several US markets and he enjoys the dedication and energy Edwin applies when working with the Graham Beck Cap Classique portfolio. “He is extremely enthusiastic about our brand and has great knowledge of Graham Beck and the ethos – he just about ‘eats-sleeps-drinks’ it! I am sure that he is excited and understands his new role and responsibilities going forward. I believe we are just appearing on the “US-radar” with our beautiful Cap Classiques and I know that Edwin’s passion will take us to the next level,” says Pieter.

Chris du Toit, Graham Beck Enterprises CEO, joined in congratulating the newest team member. “It gives us great pleasure to be able to deliver on Graham Beck’s relentless quest to increase quality, not only in our product, but also in our relationships with our business partners globally.  We believe that Edwin will bring great value to further enhance our service delivery to our customers and to showcase our dedication to this market,” concludes Chris.
