Wine Training South Africa
SKOP courses have been presented in the wine industry for the past 20 years. However, in the past year we became aware of a great need for Safety Training at many wine cellars. We therefore decided to address this issue with the assistance of an expert in the field.
A Safety Training seminar will shortly be presented in conjunction with Engela Buchler from Work Power. Engela has specialist experience in safety and health environments at organisations like McCain, Unilever, etc. and became involved in the wine industry a year ago.

The induction programme includes the following, among others:

- Applicable OHSAct legislation
- Driven Machinery - Forklifts
- Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.)
- Work in confined spaces
- Rotating/moving equipment (screw conveyers, augers)
- Ladders and working on heights
- Injuries
- Chemicals
- Emergency evacuations
- Alcohol and drugs

The seminar is aimed at wine makers and cellar staff. This is an ideal opportunity to ensure that your staff are up to date on the necessary safety practices, especially before the start of the season.

Every delegate will receive an attendance certificate.
